CALL TO ORDER: By President Peterman at 9:37 am
MOMENT OF SILENCE called for by President Peterman
ROLL CALL: Roll called by Secretary: All present except Past President Jose Bosque
TREASURER REPORT: $32,475.28
SECRETARY REPORT: 282 current members. Held 25 mini certifications in 2023. Palm Beach S.O. is still
seeking to certify approximately 20 Therapy Canines in the near future (new members). Not looking
good for Steven Dailey from Region 10/1.
Motion to accept Secretary report, passed.
REPORT OF OFFICERS:
Roy Parker: stepped down as Judges Committee Chair. Turned over to Bob Dudley.
Asked for a detailed report be sent to all Trustees prior to future meetings. Treasurer Whitaker agreed
Bob Dudley: Okalossa asked for a PD1 certification, approved.
Jim Nichols: Pinellas wants a mini certification, approved.
Cory Bowling: Regional Trials doing well. Thanked Jeff Barrett for all his support.
Trustee Susan Rogers: Will update our By Laws and Events manual.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: Cory Bowling: We can shorten the duration of our Regional Trials.
By Laws change: In the future we will not require a demo when you host a Regional Trial.
GOOD OF THE ASSOCIATION: Contact Fair Hope, Al. P.D. regarding the 2026 Regional, they turned it
down. Update on the Rich Geraci situation. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!!
Long discussion on Judges membership. It was not changed.
Ron Bowling urged Judges and Score keppers to check the rule changes.
President Peterman discussed the rule changes and the National Board meeting in Baton Rouge to include the nomination of Trustees. Urged everyone to vote.
