2024 General Membership Meeting

Call to order by President Aaron Peterman at 4:05 pm, CST.
Moment of silence
ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS:
All present except Past President Jose Bosque, V.P. Southeast Andy Wieman, and Alternate Trustee Ryan Back.
TREASURER REPORT:
Currently $24,989.70, this includes travel for this meeting. Motion to accept Treasurer Report made by Ron Bowling seconded by Roy Parker.
SECRETARY REPORT:
Motion to wave reading of the minutes from the last meeting made by Jim Nichols and seconded by Chad Whitaker. Currently 281 members. The Region held 26 mini certifications in 2023. Therapy Dog Certifications are on the rise in the Region.
NEW BUSINESS:
Lakeland P.D. is moving forward with our 2025 Regional. Probably will be held in February. President Peterman will do a presentation to School Resource Association in the near future.
