2021 Winter Executive Board Meeting (Virtual)

Called to order at 10:10 am
Roll call: All members present on their respective devices
Treasure report: Currently have $19,064.13. Having difficulty with the motel from the Nationals. Please use PayPal whenever possible to avoid extra work on both the Region and the National.
Motion made by Ron Bowling to accept the Treasure report and seconded by Jim Nichols, passed.
Secretary report: Paperless memberships are going well. Please keep in mind the difference between memberships and registration for certifications as we are doing double work. Received a letter from North Port P.D. requesting to host the 2023 Regional Trials.
Motion to wave reading of previous meeting made by Jim Nichols and seconded by Roy Parker. Passed.
Motion to accept the Secretary Report made by Jim Nichols and seconded by Cory Bowling, passed
Judge committee: Requested a copy of the “master scoresheet” be sent to all Novice Judges following a certification. Secretary Bowling will ensure this happens.
New business: Motion made by Jim Nichols to accept the request for North Port P.D. to host our 2023 Regional Trials made by Jim Nichols seconded by Cory Bowling, passed.
Old business: Ethics committee chairman Ryan Back, reported on the committee’s findings from the T.T. investigation. After a long discussion, a motion was made by Ron Bowling to expel the member from our Region, passed unanimously. The Secretary was tasked with forwarding the investigation report to the Nationals.
Vice President Panhandle, Bob Dudley, presented a possible problem with handlers using body cams during the certifications. President Peterman advised “we” will check into this issue. At this time this an issue for the Chief Judge.
